Calling all pudding lovers! If you're looking for a classic British dessert that will impress your guests and leave them asking for more, look no further than this delicious Plum Pudding with Brandy Cream recipe. This traditional treat is perfect for the holiday season or any special occasion where you want to treat yourself to something indulgent.

To start, gather your ingredients and preheat your oven to 180°C. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried mixed fruits, self-raising flour, breadcrumbs, brown sugar, and butter. Mix together until well combined.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add them to the fruit mixture, along with the milk, mixed spice, and cinnamon. Stir everything together until you have a thick batter. Pour the batter into a greased pudding basin and cover with a lid or foil.

Place the pudding basin in a large pot and fill with water so that it reaches halfway up the side of the basin. Cover the pot with a lid and steam the pudding for 3 hours, checking occasionally to make sure the water hasn't evaporated.

While the pudding is steaming, make the brandy cream by whipping together the brandy and cream in a small bowl until stiff peaks form. Once the pudding has finished steaming, remove it from the pot and let it cool slightly before turning it out onto a plate.
