- 200g self-raising flour

- 100g butter

- 100g light brown sugar

- 2 eggs

- 1 tsp ground ginger

- 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

To get started, preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a baking dish. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Next, fold in the flour, ginger, and cinnamon until well combined.

Spread half of the plums evenly over the bottom of the baking dish, then pour over half of the golden syrup. Spoon the pudding mixture over the plums, then top with the remaining plums and golden syrup. Pop it in the oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
